These terms are written in plain language to explain how Remixo works. If anything here is unclear, email support@getremixo.com.
Who looks after your information
ATIENO INNOVATIONS, a business registered in Kenya (registration number BN-AYSOPK5O), Nairobi, Kenya runs Remixo and is responsible for your information. We follow Kenya's Data Protection Act, 2019.
What we collect
- Your email address, to sign you in and contact you about your account.
- The content you create or upload: posts, scripts, brand details, images and videos.
- Details of the social accounts you connect, such as the account name and an ID. We never see or store your social media passwords.
- Usage records: how many posts and AI writes you use each month, and the cost of AI actions. These records hold numbers, not your content.
- A sign-in cookie that keeps you signed in for up to 30 days. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
How we use it
Only to run Remixo: to write and reshape your posts, schedule and publish them to the accounts you choose, enforce plan limits, keep the service secure, and support you. We don't sell your information and we don't use it for advertising.
Services we rely on
To provide Remixo, some of your information is processed by these services, only for the purposes above:
- Cloudflare: hosting, database and file storage.
- Anthropic: the AI that writes and reshapes posts.
- AssemblyAI: turning speech in uploaded videos into text.
- Post For Me: publishing to your connected social accounts.
- Resend: sending sign-in emails.
- Paystack: processing payments, once paid plans are available. We don't store card details.
Some of these services are based outside Kenya, so your information may be processed in other countries.
Images and videos
Images and videos you add for posting are stored at long, hard-to-guess web addresses so the posting service can collect them. Anyone who had the exact address could view the file, so don't upload anything you wouldn't want to post. When you use "Copy a video's style", the uploaded video is deleted as soon as its speech has been turned into text.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while your account is open. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your content and personal information, except records we must keep by law, such as payment records.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or object to how we use it, by emailing support@getremixo.com. We'll reply within 30 days.
Security
Each account can only see its own content, accounts and brands, and this is checked by our servers on every request. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Age
Remixo is for people aged 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone younger.
Changes
We may update this policy and will show the new date at the top.
